Some growers inherit a system. Garden Valley Agriculture built theirs by hand. The office. The dispensary. The full 100’-by-150’ grow. All of it. Owner Bryan VanderPol and General Manager Jdee Schmidt are brothers-in-law who carved this operation out of the dirt in Corsica, South Dakota. Bryan grew up here, so the team planted their flag here, too. Their DIY start shaved six months off the build and let them get plants in the ground fast.

The mission stayed simple. Grow the best weed they can at a price patients can actually afford.

This is a family shop in every direction. Bryan’s father-in-law, Don Oakland, stepped in with grow support and still helps run day-to-day tasks. Uncle Ralph delivered product, then moved into the dispensary as a budtender. Daniel and Lana relocated from a partner company in Oregon to join the crew. Daniel leads the grow. Lana trims full-time and is the reason their buds show up clean, tight, and consistent. Their consultant, Eli McLean, shaped strain development and helped the team refine their grow approach from the start.

This core team, plus roughly fifteen part-timers, handles every step. Growing. Trimming. Packing. Delivering. They keep new strains moving, new products coming, and a steady focus on quality.
