Melissa spent more than two decades in healthcare before shifting her focus to cannabis as medicine. She played a major role in shaping South Dakota’s medical cannabis program, helping write the very rules that now protect patient access. Ned led grassroots efforts to bring legalization to the ballot, building the volunteer network that made history in 2020. Together with partners Kyle Peska and Liz Tiger, they have built 605 Cannabis on the same foundation that started it all: patient care, community trust, and local craftsmanship.

Inside their 30,000-square-foot cultivation campus just off the Canton exit, the 605 team handles every step of the growing process with precision and purpose. Their flower is known for consistency and character, carefully nurtured by South Dakotans who understand both the science and the spirit behind the plant.
